The Hellmann Shared Service Center Kft. has been established in 2013 after more than five years of successful collaboration between Hellmann Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG, Germany and Gamax Kft., Hungary.
Early in 2008 Hellmann was looking to fulfill an increased number of customer requests which resulted in a strongly increased functionality-demand from the business towards the IT. Furthermore, Hellmann was planning to centralize and replace its heterogenous ERP software landscape, which meant further demand for skilled IT-personnel.
After a relatively short period of intensive usage of oversea-based external consulting, Hellmann decided to locate the bigger part of her IT-delivery capacity in Europe and the search for a stable and reliable sourcing-partner has led to Gamax. Following several years of joint work, Hellmann decided to extend her commitment for a Hungarian location and the two companies established a joint venture in which Hellmann is the majority owner.
Besides the fact that the IT-delivery capacity has constantly increased in the past years, the activity-spectrum of Hellmann Shared Service Center covers today also: Finance (AP/AR, Invoice-Processing, Dunning-Letter Processing, Netting etc.) and different HR activities
