The Business Support Centre (BSC) of Avis Budget Group, a globally leading vehicle rental service provider, is supporting the Group from Budapest mainly covering customer care, commercial support and financial services. In our Financial Services Teams we have roles with varying complexity providing the opportunity to gradually gain experience in full scope of accounting. Within Financial Services, our Accounts Payable Teams are organised in a process driven structure. Teams are responsible for PO & non PO invoice processing, query management, master data & payments. Roles may vary depending on which team you will be joining.

Tasks and activities

  • Handling supplier queries, solving problems in writing and on the phone
  • In case of invoice issues or other questions contacting the supplier in a proactive way and follows up cases to get resolved
  • Track supplier correspondence according to guidelines
  • Ensure continuous availability to answer supplier phone calls
  • Request supplier statements and prepare reconciliations
  • Supporting senior colleagues and team lead, acting independently
  • Giving process improvement ideas to the senior/team lead
  • Helping in keeping the processes up to date – tracking and documenting all the changes

  • Degree in Economics, preferably with emphasis on Finance/Accounting
  • 0-1 years of experience within accounts payable is expected
  • English language knowledge
  • Analytical mind-set
  • Excellent problem solving skills, logical thinking
  • Accuracy; ability to work precisely under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • “Can do “ mentality, collaborative approach; team spirit
  • Confident user skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
