Tasks and activities

  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of Accounts Payables into the ledgers
  • To prepare and support documents for period close
  • To ensure that all invoices are approved appropriately and paid on time
  • To ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • To provide a helpdesk facility for any queries from Outsourced Service Providers/suppliers/BP business staff
  • Adhering with the tasks outlined in the EMS/QMS Systems of EBSC
  • To monitor accounts / payment runs
  • Workflow user support / administration
  • To handle invoice processing, HR and other special accounts, pre-payments with bank guarantee, insolvency, default interest, signatures for payment authorization
  • To align accruals and deferrals
  • To validate general ledger accounts
  • Invoice verification, processing of Purchase invoices with and without Purchase Order, preparation of manual posting documents, posting against provisions
  • To handle internal & external queries
  • Strong interactivity with assigned Business Units, customers as well as contact with Outsourced Service Providers and Business Facing Financials.

Experience in this profession

  • Relevant degree
  • Fluency in Polish and English
  • Some accounting experience desirable
  • Language and Interpersonal skills with particular focus on client responsiveness
