Tasks and activities

  • Act as Scrum master for one or more scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
  • Accountable for delivery of the automation opportunity assigned to the squad
  • Assist the Demand Managers/ Process Engineers/Product Owner/Process SME with keeping the backlog groomed
  • Ability to remove blockers for teams quickly by taking on tasks and getting them to done
  • Ensure cross-team coordination and support culture change to improve delivery agility
  • Champion continuous improvement and Agile mind-set
  • Reach out to the larger organization network for impediment removal
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing
  • Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the scrum team
  • Manage one or more Squad teams and control the current and future state process
  • Proactive management of external dependencies, complex problem-solving and issues escalation
  • Liaise with OCM, Product Owner, Process Engineer, Delivery and Platform teams to delivery and adoption of Automation solution


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
  • Experience in Project Management across full project lifecycle with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master – where Scrum principles, practices and theory were diligently applied (essential)
  • Knowledge of full Software Development Lifecycle (essential)
  • Knowledge of RPA (essential)
  • Ability to analyse new Automation requirement and suggest suitable services (desirable)
  • Experience of automation or implementation of RPA automation projects (desirable)
  • Experience of leading Scrum Master (essential)
  • Proven Agile experience in IT delivery, building and sustaining high performing teams(essential)
  • Experience working in a dependent multi agile team environment (essential)
  • Demonstrated Facilitation, Communication and Organisational skills (essential)
  • Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner (essential)
  • Experience of successful delivery of one or more programmes from inception to completion (essential) 
  • History of improving delivery performance (essential)
  • Experience of working in an onsite / offshore setup with requirement directly or indirectly coming from various groups. Should be able to extend consultation,  high level solution and the precise implementation methodology for each of those requirements
  • Ability to act as a project "driver", facilitating the achievement of required tasks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - ability and confidence to challenge and influence
  • Be an imaginative / Creative problem solver
  • Energetic and tactful facilitator to promote and engage a committed delivery team
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence
