Liquidity Reporting Analyst
“Working at a global bank like Citi provided me the opportunity to relocate to London for two years and gain valuable international experience at a major finance hub. It really helped me to develop my professional career and build out my international network both within and outside of Citi.”
Information Security Analyst
“I joined Citi in November 2016 as part of Global Information Security Graduate Program. I graduated in Mathematics and had never considered a career in another field. When I heard about the opportunity to join Citi and found that I would learn how information security and cyber security is managed in such a large organization I had no doubts about applying. I would say that it was one of the best decisions in my life.
I dived into the world of cyber within the newly opened Cyber Security Fusion Center in Citi Budapest. I never imagined how challenging and at the same time how incredibly interesting it will be!”
Market Quantitative Analyst
“My most unique experience was spending a week in London, on the trading floor. I got to see how much of trading is still done on the phone, by traders with strong relationships and understanding of their clients. Back home I’m developing an algorithm to help our traders make decisions in critical situations, and to manage the immense volume of information they are bombarded. I am the only person in the bank in Budapest to work in this area, and I am very proud every time I contribute to their and our clients success.”
IT Service Delivery Manager
“I started at Citi as a helpdesk agent taking phone calls. Within a few years I’ve grown to manage the whole service for 50+ countries and lead the regional transition to a market-leading supplier. Now I’m even the global leader for one of our service functions where I get to collaborate with people around the globe. Citi is a truly global company that challenges and enables you to show what you are capable of.”
Securities Country Manager
“Since starting with Citi in 2004, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of departments, I have now over 14 years’ experience in the Hungarian Capital Market, for which I represent Citi Hungary at the Association of Investment Service Providers and as a member of the Settlement Committee of the Budapest Stock Exchange. I would not have been able to do this without working at Citi.”
Client Relationship Manager
“I’ve had many roles during my tenure at Citi, within a variety of departments, which has given me a chance to explore and find an area that is most suitable to my skills. I’m presently in the Learning & Development team as a Client Relationship Manager. I’m responsible for building, maintaining and managing relationships with new & existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction. My advice: Sometimes it’s difficult to find your way, but if you drive your career and don’t give up, Citi will give you the opportunity to achieve great success.”
