5% OF THE WORKFORCE WORKS IN SSCS IN HUNGARY
Nowadays, more than 100 companies operate and 50 thousand people work in the Hungarian SSC sector, which became the second most important leading sector, after the car industry, in Hungary.
Fluctuation and rising salaries might be a threat to the sector, but high-value-added processes can offer a good solution for the future problem. Also, digitization is becoming an increasingly important factor.
Some thoughts from KPMG about the SSC-paradox and its solution: 'A well-designed, robot-supported process can significantly improve operational efficiency and work experience for the employees as well. This can be the key solution when companies try to make the best of their scarce workforce. Besides salary, it can be a greater appeal if internal systems are convenient, logical, and digitized.'
