The Employer Branding Award 2017 ceremony was held in Budapest Music Center, on the 26th of March 2018. This valuable official qualification was given to companies, in six categories. Two of the winners were SSCs: BT and Eaton.

The Hungarian Public Relations Association (MPRSz) announced the competition for this award for the third time. Employer Branding Award helps to collect and reveal the best practices in this field, in order to have more joyful, ambitious, and healthy workplaces in Hungary. Also, the association would like to bring communication and HR professionals closer to each other.

’The content of this year’s tenders justifies the trend that more and more companies would like to focus on retention instead of engagement. In addition, employee experience has been becoming more and more important within retention. We are happy to say that the quality and the thoughtfulness of the tenders have been becoming better. The number of competitors has doubled since last year which indicates the growth in prestige and attention towards the award’ – says Balázs Kádár, the leader of Employer Branding within Hungarian Public Relations Association, and the founder of this award.

BT Regional Operation Centre won the award for ’Employer Branding Yearly Strategy – Big corporation’. Eaton Enterprises won the ’Best Office Special Prize’. Also, other SSCs got qualified in the top 3 places, such as National Instruments or Erste Bank.
